To the neighbor in 1335;
Who doesn’t love to listen to drums at midnight on a Wednesday?
Oh, and might I say, you’ve gotten pretty good.
You can trust me, from directly below your set,
I really feel each beat.
And the boom of the base drum
like an aggressive pre-pubescent explosion...
...so lovely...
I would think that after five nights straight
you would be more improved, but
I’m sure you’ll prove otherwise tomorrow night...
...or the next...
...or the next...
...or the next...
Might I make a suggestion?
I know I’m not the expert here.
I’m just some lousy neighbor
trying to sleep before his 8 am tomorrow,
...but maybe the reason you continually miss the
“bum – ba dum- ba bum- bum bum” part,
instead sounding more like a gaggle of drunken geese,
is because the occasion proves much too late?
Might I suggest rehearsing at an earlier hour?
Maybe in a sound proof room?
On top of a mountain?
10,000 miles away from my room?
Anyways... I digress.
I hope you prove successful in your future endeavors.
Yours truly,
Your neighbor in 1325
